What gets handled, what does not

Rentals, vacants, turnovers
A lot of Flint's calls are not from the person who lives there. A tenant reports a smell in the garage. A turnover crew opens a vacant on the east side and finds a dead raccoon in the basement. A property manager in Burton has a dead groundhog under a porch and three showings on Saturday.
The operator can take the call from you, meet a tenant or a keyholder, and invoice whoever you say. Put the access arrangement in the form: lockbox, tenant present, meet at the property. That saves a wasted trip.
Vacant properties come with a second question, which is whether there is more than one animal and where they got in. The operator will say what they saw. Sealing entry points is a separate job and not something this site promises.
Road or lot
The Michigan Department of Transportation removes carcasses on I-69, I-75, I-475, US-23 and the M-routes, reported through its regional office. County roads belong to the county road commission. That is MDOT's own answer, on its own FAQ.
Genesee County Animal Care on West Pasadena Avenue handles stray, dangerous and injured dogs and cats. Its published scope says nothing about wildlife carcasses, and nothing we could verify commits the City of Flint to collecting one from private property.
On your lot, Michigan law makes it yours: dispose of it within 24 hours, and if you bury it, at least two feet down. That is the job this number takes.
The sequence
- Call or send the form. Address, where the animal is, whether a person can reach it.
- Price on the phone. Changes on arrival are re-quoted before work starts.
- Carcass bagged and hauled. Soiled material immediately under it usually goes too.
- You are told what was found and what was not.
